  1. Your videos have inspired me to re acquire some of the games/systems I sold years ago when the new systems came out. I’m thinking either the n64 or GameCube as I have the fondest memories of these two. Would you recommend one to collect for over the other?

  2. Sony Playstation center old hill cradly heath is a nice shop used to be called sega suppliers if you have not tried it used to have all my games from there when I was a kid

  3. Before we moved a few years ago we lived 5 minutes walk from Vintage gamer. Always found their prices to be a little high and didn't buy much from there but certainly had a lot of good stuff. They had a mame stand up arcade machine for sale a few years back which was reasonably priced but we didn't have room for one at the time. Great video this one enjoyed it.

  4. Does Vintage Gamer have a website? Their store front showed a website address but it doesn’t seem to work. I wish more of these independent retro game shops had websites where you can buy their games, none of them are ever anywhere near to where I live. I guess it would be too much of an admin burden. Shame.

  5. Yeay roadtrip. A good time for playing Gameboy ;D
You could have jumped out and checked out the first shop quickly while your friend drove around in circles xD
Where those gamegear and Gameboy carts taped to that shelf?! xD

  6. As appealing as Vintage Gamer is as a shop. The downside is that they stock the shelves with too many layers. So can easily miss out of some decent find if you're not willing to dig deep through the shelves.

  7. I wish I could afford to travel. I live in Swindon. There is one place here called Retro Games HQ. It's a section at the back of a music shop. Apart from that, We just have a CEX.

  8. That one shop looked awesome but having games multiple levels deep on a shelf, where the ones behind aren’t multiples of the game in front, makes me anxious. Time for a bigger shop.

  9. Just wanted to say thanks for the great videos, after following retro gaming videos for years the youtube algorithm recommended you and now I can't stop binge watching – great laid back style, easy to watch, quality editing and interesting subjects.. maybe youtube has decided this is your year to blow up? Thanks for all the enjoyment, please keep it going!

  10. That stack of nes' is getting my ocd with that bottom one 😂 I really need to plan a road trip to this shop!

We have a local small games shop in Felixstowe which has been run by a man and wife team for at least 30 years. Managed to find a ps1 motion control glove in there the other day.

Love this video! Thank you so much for sharing!

  11. Wow I really need to visit that last shop, I've never seen anything like it! Can see why it's your fave ever! Nice to hear the Gaming musos music as well, have that album, its top notch! Great vid 👍🏻

  12. Great to have a look at the game shops of Birmingham! I´m not likely to be there anytime soon, and not in Great Britain either I´m afraid. But if I do, I´ll know just the shops to go to!

  13. Wow, vintagegamer looks incredible, only 20 miles from where I live. They definitely need a bigger shop! Half the stock looks like it's hidden behind layers and layers of other games! Amazing though, I'm definitely going there sometime
